Why the NVR Bypass Matters
Some dust extractors are fitted with an electromagnetic switch also known as NVR (No-Volt Release) switch. This safety feature makes sure the machine won’t restart on its own after a power cut—you have to press the button yourself.
That’s useful for safety, but it also means that no automatic controller (Aersync included) can start the extractor while the NVR is in place. The controller can supply power, but the NVR blocks it until you press the switch.
The simple solution is for a licensed electrician to bypass the NVR. Once that’s done, Aersync can take care of switching your extractor on and off automatically, so you can stay focused on your work.

For your Electrician
If your extractor includes an NVR switch, it must be bypassed and the wires linked directly by a licensed electrician.

Smart automation with peace of mind
Aersync gives you smart automation without compromising safety.
It will only run your dust extractor when you want it to—either by remote control or when it detects a tool in use. Even if the NVR switch is bypassed, your extractor will not restart unexpectedly after a power outage, thanks to Aersync’s intelligent monitoring.
