    ToolSense – Wireless Automatic Dust Extractor Sensor

    Important: Older Aersync P1 units (purchased before September 2026) need a firmware update for ToolSense compatibility. The update and testing are free; you pay postage to Aerguard and we cover return postage within Australia. Please contact us before ordering for an older P1.

    ToolSense is a wireless tool-use sensor, not a stand-alone dust extractor controller. With Aersync P1, an external Aerswitch receiver is required. Aerswitch P3 has a built-in wireless receiver, so no additional Aerswitch receiver is needed.

    • 10A or 15A models: Choose to suit the connected tool and power outlet. The 15A version requires a suitable 15A outlet.
    • Automatic detection: When the connected tool runs, ToolSense sends a wireless trigger to the receiver connected to Aersync P1 or built into Aerswitch P3.
    • Simple pairing: Connect the tool and power supply, enter pairing mode on your controller's receiver (external on Aersync P1, built-in on Aerswitch P3), then press Test on ToolSense.
    • Wireless range: Up to approximately 30m in suitable conditions. Test reception before permanent positioning.
    • Test button: Sends a signal to help test pairing and operation.

    What you need: ToolSense and a compatible controller. Aersync P1 additionally needs an external Aerswitch receiver; Aerswitch P3 does not. The woodworking tools and extractors shown in setup diagrams are not included.
